Doing these simple activities, at least twice a week in addition to your daily physical activity, can help you stay strong and balanced. They can be incorporated into your daily routine, for example, try some knee bends while waiting for the kettle to boil.

Odissi is a beautiful classical dance which uses drama and graceful movements, originating from Odisha in the eastern province of India.
It is also the oldest Indian classical dance form, as shown in the Udaygiri temple. It is a low impact dance however requires good balance and swift movements as you advance. Calypso dance originated in Trinidad, and now there are many modern day takes on this dance movement.

Yoga focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.
There is some evidence that regular yoga practice helps people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains (including lower back pain), depression and stress. This link is suitable for all fitness levels. The instructor, LJ, uses the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga, which places strong emphasis on connecting the breath with the yoga poses.
