Charlotte Reeves is Head of Clinical Governance at Xyla, where she is responsible for clinical quality, risk management, safeguarding, infection prevention and service assurance across the organisation. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, she brings a strong blend of clinical expertise and strategic leadership to the delivery of safe, high-quality services at scale.

Background and expertise

A Registered Nurse with a BA Hons in Paediatric Nursing, Charlotte began her career working across both acute and community settings. This frontline experience underpins her approach to governance, ensuring that organisational strategy remains grounded in the realities of patient care. She has since held a range of senior leadership roles, consistently focused on strengthening governance frameworks and driving continuous improvement.

Charlotte’s expertise spans clinical governance, safeguarding, audit, quality improvement and assurance. She is particularly skilled in developing robust governance structures that enable services to scale safely and sustainably, while maintaining a strong focus on patient outcomes. She is also experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams and embedding evidence-based practice across complex service environments.

She has undertaken advanced training in clinical governance, safeguarding and infection prevention, and is committed to fostering cultures of transparency, accountability and continuous learning within healthcare organisations.
