Batoul Nasr is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist with extensive experience delivering high-quality dermatology services across the NHS. She has held a substantive consultant role since 2018 and is fully accredited with Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), enabling her to practise independently as a consultant in the UK healthcare system.
Batoul currently works as a Consultant Dermatologist within the NHS and has additional leadership responsibilities as Clinical Lead for Dermatology at Xyla. In this role, she provides strategic and clinical oversight across a broad range of dermatology services, including face-to-face outpatient clinics, hospital-based dermatology provision, insourcing services and consultant-led teledermatology. Her work spans routine dermatology, urgent care and skin cancer services, supporting NHS trusts to reduce waiting times and improve access to specialist expertise.
With a strong interest in service transformation, Batoul plays a key role in clinical governance, patient safety, audit and quality assurance. She is closely involved in the development and delivery of innovative models of care, including large-scale teledermatology pathways that enable rapid triage, diagnosis and management of skin conditions. This approach helps ensure patients receive the right care at the right time while reducing unnecessary secondary care referrals.
Batoul also contributes to business development and service design, supporting contract bids and engaging with NHS stakeholders to demonstrate the value and impact of consultant-led dermatology services.
She is passionate about improving dermatology outcomes through clinically robust, patient-centred and scalable models of care.
“What drives me is finding practical ways to deliver safe, high-quality dermatology services to more patients, particularly where access and waiting times remain a challenge.”
