HCA – Gynaecology Day Case Service (East Yorkshire)

We are recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to support the Gynaecology Day Case service. The role involves supporting the ward team with patient care, clinic preparation, and maintaining smooth patient flow throughout the day‑case pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting patients pre‑ and post‑procedure
  • Assisting with observations, patient checks and comfort rounds
  • Preparing bays/areas for incoming patients
  • Cleaning, stocking and maintaining equipment and clinical areas
  • Supporting documentation processes and assisting with basic admin tasks
  • Working alongside nursing staff to ensure efficient patient turnover

Experience Required

• Previous HCA or clinical support experience (essential)
  • Experience in surgical or gynae environments is desirable
  • Ability to follow clinical instructions and Trust protocols
  • Organised, reliable and confident in a busy ward environment
  • Strong communication and patient‑support skills

Working Pattern

• Saturday & Sunday
  • 07:00–20:00
