Ward Nurse- Gynaecology Day case Service ( East Yorkshire)

We are recruiting an experienced Ward Nurse to support the Gynecology Day Case service. This role involves caring for patients undergoing a range of gynae procedures and ensuring high‑quality, safe and compassionate care throughout their day‑case journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for gynae day‑case patients
  • Complete observations, medication administration and patient discharge planning
  • Work closely with theatre teams to coordinate patient flow
  • Deliver clear patient information and support throughout their stay
  • Ensure high‑quality documentation and adherence to Trust policies
  • Complete all required admin and paperwork during the shift

Experience Required

• Gynaecology or surgical ward experience (essential)
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Confident managing day‑case surgical patients
  • NMC registration required

Working Pattern

• Saturday & Sunday
  • 07:00–20:00 (Day Case Ward)
  • 10 patients per day
