Please ensure that the scales are on the same hard, flat surface when you weigh yourself. Not on a carpet or any other softer surface as the reading will be incorrect.

Scales reset instructions:

Remove the battery from the scales.
Leave the scales for 5 minutes with the battery removed.
Please note that it is important to wait a few minutes before reinserting the battery because it is in this time that the scales fully reset.
Re-install your battery.
Initialise the scale by powering it on and wait for it to turn off again.

Restart the scales

If the reset is successful, you should receive a weight right away. If you continue to get the same issue you can also try the reset procedure a second time. We also advise you to try a new battery.

To choose between kg, stones or lb weight mode, please use the button labelled ‘UNIT’ on the underside of the scales.

Frequency of testing and number of lancets/testing strips provided

You will receive 200 lancets and over 100 testing strips in your initial kit.
You are only required to test before each session – this adds up to around 20 tests per year, plus up to 4 extra tests if you are on the Reset programme.

If you run out of lancets or testing strips during the year, you will need to order and pay for more yourself.
If your initial kit does not contain the full amount, please contact the PST team as soon as possible after your order arrives.
