Cardiovascular disease prevention

The NHS has identified cardiovascular disease as a clinical priority, recognising it as the single biggest condition where the NHS can save lives over the next decade. Currently affecting approximately 7 million people in the UK, cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of disability and mortality.

Our programme provides holistic wellbeing information and engaging physical activity sessions to empower participants to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease.

Delivered weekly in face-to-face sessions held in local community venues, participants collaborate to explore effective strategies for cardiovascular risk reduction. Through theory sessions, interactive learning, and stimulating discussions, participants gain valuable insights into protecting their heart health. Each session also includes a physical activity session featuring a variety of activities, promoting active lifestyles as a critical component of cardiovascular health.
