Senior Nurse Opportunity – Weekend Allergy Clinics Midlands

Xyla is seeking Band 6 Nurses or above to support weekend allergy clinics for a service in the Midlands.

Start Date: 16/17 August (TBC)

Contract Duration: 3 months

 Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a chaperone and provide assistance to the allergy consultant during patient appointments.
• Competent in performing skin prick tests, patch testing and blood tests in line with best practice and allergy guidelines.
• Record testing outcomes accurately and communicate findings directly to the consultant.
• Proficient in using clinical systems.

 Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 years experience working with allergies
• Senior nurse experience- band 6
• Must be trained and competent to complete allergy prick tests including prick to prick skin tests.

Training Provided:

• Remote/online system training prior to starting.
