Scrub Nurse – Gynaecology Day Case Theatres (East Yorkshire)

We are recruiting experienced Scrub Nurses to support the Gynaecology Day Case Theatre service in East Yorkshire. This role involves providing skilled scrub support for a range of gynae procedures within a busy and well‑established day‑case environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support for gynaecology procedures
  • Prepare, check and manage instruments and equipment for each case
  • Maintain aseptic technique and uphold patient safety throughout each procedure
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, ODPs and theatre staff
  • Anticipate surgical needs and support efficient theatre lists
  • Complete documentation and adhere to Trust protocols

Experience Required

• Previous scrub experience in theatres (essential)
  • Gynaecology theatre experience desirable
  • NMC registration required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow theatre protocols and maintain high safety standards

Working Pattern

• Saturday & Sunday
  • 08:00–18:00/19:00
  • Approximately 10 patients per day
