Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist

📍Rewarding Insourcing Opportunity for a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist! (Band 6)📍

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to join our team!

Location:

• Danestrete Clinic, Stevenage
• Marlowes Health and Wellbeing Centre, Hemel Hempstead

Days: 2 weekdays (1 day at each clinic)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Start Date: ASAP

Availability: Must be able to commit to a regular and ongoing work pattern.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and therapy intervention blocks
• Assess and treat each child with care and expertise
• Schedule and manage follow-up appointments as needed
• Handle 5 clinics per day (9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM)
• Depending on the type of referral, expected to have 4, 6, or 10 interventions that must be completed weekly or bi-weekly

Requirements:

• Must have experience in Paediatric or Children and Young People (CYP) therapy
• Complete remote training on SystmOne 
• Complete half day training via Teams meeting
