Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Endoscopy Nurse to support a busy (insourcing) endoscopy service. You will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care across a range of endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-assessment and consent support
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Administer medications and sedation as appropriate
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure infection prevention and control standards are adhered to
Support recovery and discharge processes
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

NMC registration
NHS experience (essential)
Previous endoscopy experience (essential)
Knowledge of JAG standards and patient safety practices
Strong communication and organisational skills
