Band 6 Capsule Endoscopy Nurse – West Midlands

We are recruiting experienced Band 6 Nurses to support a Capsule Endoscopy (CCE) service in the West Midlands

You will play a key role in providing safe, efficient, and patient‑focused care as part of a developing service.

Location: West Midlands
Service Type: Capsule endoscopy
Schedule: Weekday service (Monday & Wednesday )
Contract Duration: 3 months

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct full patient assessments against CCE inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Explain the capsule endoscopy process and respond to patient queries
• Administer CCE capsules during onsite clinic days
• Book patients into future clinic sessions following pre‑assessment
• Ensure high‑quality documentation and adherence to Trust protocols

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ Capsule Endoscopy experience (essential)
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and patient‑support abilities

Working Pattern

• Monday & Wednesday

09:00–18:00
