Job Advert: Nurse (SDL) for Allergy Outpatients Clinic – Nottingham University NHS Trust

Contract Pattern:

• Start date : ASAP
• Ongoing Commitment: One full weekend per month

Role Duties:
As a Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the consultant and chaperoning in clinic.
• Conducting Skin Prick Tests and Prick-to-Prick Skin Tests.
• Waiting for results and providing feedback to the doctor.
• Taking bloods if required.
• Completing system updates and reporting through Xyla.

Patient Load:

• Up to 14 patients per day (not all require prick tests).

Experience & Certification Requirements:

• Must be trained and competent to perform allergy prick tests.

Training:

• Format: Online/remote system training.

Admin Requirements:
Time allocated during the session for administrative tasks and follow-ups.

Additional Information:

• Nurses must meet compliance standards, including being fully certified for required procedures.
• The role may involve a virtual interview process; references will be required
