About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced ANP or CNS to support a dynamic Neurology service, providing high‑quality assessment, management, and ongoing care for patients with a range of neurological conditions. This role is ideal for clinicians who are able to work Friday to Monday, offering flexibility within those days depending on availability.

You will work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist clinical expertise across inpatient and/or outpatient neurology settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed neurological assessments, including full histories and examinations.
• Manage patients with conditions such as epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s disease, headaches/migraines, functional neurological disorders, and general neurology presentations.
• Request and interpret diagnostic investigations including MRI/CT scans, EEGs, EMGs, and relevant blood tests.
• Support or lead nurse‑led neurology clinics depending on service needs.
• Adjust, titrate, and monitor neurological medications (prescribing qualification desirable).
• Offer specialist support, education, and guidance to patients, families, and carers.
• Work closely with wider MDT members to ensure seamless and consistent care.
• Participate in service improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.

Requirements

• NMC‑registered Nurse with appropriate postgraduate training.
• Experience working within Neurology or a closely related specialty.
• Demonstrated advanced assessment, diagnostic and autonomous clinical decision‑making skills.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work Friday–Monday (or available across these days).
• Able to start in April 2026.
