BroadCare Software Suite

BroadCare is a purpose‑built All Age Continuing Healthcare (AACC) software platform designed to provide a single, secure system for managing patient information, packages of care, finance, and statutory reporting as well as much more.

BroadCare brings together every element of patient case management into one intuitive system. It enables teams to efficiently manage:

  • Digital Referral Portal (DRAR) – A secure, paperless referral platform that fully integrates with BroadCare to create a single, streamlined process from referral submission through to DST verification. It improves data quality, removes double‑entry, provides real‑time referral dashboards and has delivered a 15% efficiency improvement for customers.
  • Provider Portal – An integrated module enabling ICBs to manage and communicate with care providers more effectively. It includes real‑time CQC‑synced provider lists, brokerage and dynamic procurement tools, contract management, bed availability updates and built‑in e‑signature capability, supporting faster, more efficient and transparent provider engagement.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Tool – A powerful reporting environment linked to BroadCare, providing fast analytical insight across CHC activity and financial performance. It offers customisable filters, 40‑minute automated data refreshes, graphical outputs for reporting, and rapid retrieval of data for FOI requests and operational needs.
Interoperability, scalability and flexibility

BroadCare integrates seamlessly with a range of systems, including NHS Spine, CQC, Google Maps, e‑signature tools, QlikSense, and referral and provider portals. Enabling smooth data flow and reducing administrative effort.

It is built to scale with ICB needs, offering unlimited patient‑record storage, dedicated ICB instances, real‑time performance monitoring and the ability to manage decades of data and large document volumes, with clear segregation across localities and cohorts.

BroadCare also provides strong flexibility through configurable ‘Lookup’ features that support local pathways, including AACC models. Enhanced with PRSB‑compliant data services, APIs and automated data extracts.

Digital security and compliance

BroadCare is a fully cloud‑hosted, UK‑based system requiring no local installation and compatible with all major browsers. It meets all data protection and GDPR standards and is fully compliant with Cyber Essentials+, DTAC, DCB0160, DCB0129, ISO27001, and the NHS DSP Toolkit. The platform uses multi‑layered access controls, including MFA/SSO, RBAC user templates, role‑specific permissions for operational, clinical, finance, and provider teams, PID‑access restrictions, ICB‑level superuser access and BroadCare admin‑level rights.

BroadCare maintains a strong audit capability by recording system activity and every data‑field change within patient records. Dedicated audit and user reports can be run at any time, and audit stamps appear throughout the system, including when documents are accessed. To protect patient confidentiality, PID restrictions can be applied so users only see data appropriate to their role. ICBs can also configure restricted areas, such as specific classifications or localities, so that only authorised individuals can view selected patient records.

Caretrack

Caretrack is a purpose-built, fully web-based All Age Continuing Healthcare, Funded Nursing Care and Complex Care patient Management system.

Caretrack supports electronic referrals (digital validation of data), holds clinical and financial records including NOK, care packages, providers (including payment), workflow management, review scheduling, document storage, letter generation, financial forecasting, reporting including the quarterly Funded Care Return, PLDS and care provider management.

Caretrack features a live dashboard, comprehensive reporting and a fully hosted BI platform to analyse and report on live data.

Caretrack offers end-to-end support for various healthcare processes, including CHC, FNC, Children’s Continuing Care and complex care. It encompasses the entire spectrum of case-related activities, such as assessment, review, panel, and appeal. By efficiently managing data for care home and domiciliary care providers, our system contributes to cost savings of up to 5% on the CHC-commissioned budget. It streamlines the brokerage process and provides a full, auditable financial data set, enabling accurate financial forecasting.

With our live dashboard, users can access real-time information on AACC KPIs, activity, workload, and finance, allowing for better monitoring and decision-making. To streamline administration, we’ve introduced a digital referral portal along with digital CHC and Fast Track forms, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy. Users can generate both pre‑defined and ad‑hoc reports instantly, ensuring comprehensive insights are always available when needed. The system securely stores all incoming and outgoing correspondence and supporting documentation for quick and easy retrieval, while standard letter‑generation tools further enhance communication efficiency.

Our system supports all decision-making processes, including the Decision Support Tool (DST), throughout the patient journey. Case managers can efficiently allocate, own, and monitor the progress of their caseload.

Financial visibility and control are key features, with historical, current, and future financial data readily available. The system offers insightful reporting at various levels, including case, user, team, and organisation, enabling effective performance monitoring. Customisable elements allow users to tailor the system to their specific needs, while rapid set-up ensures a quick implementation process. The system supports remote and off-site working through secure internet access, facilitating flexibility and accessibility.

Domiciliary Care Financial Assurance

Broadcare Solutions completes monthly care quality and financial audits to ensure that commissioned domiciliary care matches what is delivered. This includes contacting patients/NOK, identifying discrepancies or concerns and managing the full invoice and payment process on behalf of the ICB, improving accuracy and reducing avoidable spend.

Residential CHC & FNC Payment Management

Broadcare Solutions manages residential and FNC payments end‑to‑end, including processing invoices or preparing bulk payment schedules, communicating with providers and generating SBS‑ready payment files. This reduces administrative pressure and improves payment accuracy and timeliness.

One to One Support Reclaim Service
