About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support the Dermatology Minor Ops service at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust. This is a weekend-only role, ideal for HCAs with outpatient experience who are confident in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Details:

• Working Days: Saturday & Sunday
• Hours: 08:00 – 18:00
• Department: Dermatology Minor Ops
• Contract Type: Temporary (8 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Act as the receptionist for the weekend surgical service
• Meet and greet patients
• Ensure patient notes are available in clinic
• Support with end-of-day clean down
• Assist with moving files and running pathology as directed by the SDL
• Provide general ad hoc support to the clinical team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Outpatients HCA
• Dermatology experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
