Our team of UK-based Cardiac Physiologists and Healthcare Scientists delivers expert AECG interpretation and analysis to hospitals, GP practices, and independent clinicians.
Our new service allows clinicians to refer patients for ambulatory ECG monitoring, with devices delivered directly to the patient’s door. The monitors are then collected and returned to our expert team, who review, analyse, and report on the data. You will receive a comprehensive clinical report.
This streamlined process provides comprehensive reports without long waits, at costs lower than the NHS tariff, allowing you to diagnose and treat patients more efficiently.
The UK faces a significant shortage of cardiac physiologists, straining the healthcare system and delaying essential services like ambulatory ECG monitoring. As of January 2025, the average wait time for an ambulatory ECG appointment in England was … weeks, with an additional … weeks for analysis. This results in a total wait time of … weeks for ECG results.
A streamlined workflow allows for quicker diagnoses and treatment initiation, improving patient outcomes.
Improve the efficiency in cardiac services through home-based monitoring.
This fully remote AECG service reduces the need for in-person clinical appointments, making healthcare more accessible.
Digital data transmission enables faster specialist reviews, shortening the time from test to diagnosis.

If you are experiencing chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, syncope (collapses), presyncope, or dizziness your physician may want to refer you for an ambulatory ECG to assess for any heart rhythm disturbances.
Electrodes (these are like large plasters) are attached to your chest, and the device records the heart’s electrical activity. The data is then analysed by a healthcare professional (Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientist) to identify any abnormalities.
Yes, an AECG is a non-invasive and safe procedure. The device is small and portable, allowing patients to carry on with their daily activities without significant discomfort. Some patients can have mild skin irritation from the electrodes, we can supply hypersensitive electrodes for patients with sensitive skin.
You can go about normal daily activities; however, we do ask you to maintain a diary of activities and any symptoms you experience while wearing the monitor. This helps correlate the recorded heart rhythms with specific activities or symptoms.
The AECG monitor supplied will not be waterproof, so we ask you to refrain from showering or bathing while wearing the device.
After the monitoring period, the recorded data is downloaded and analysed by a healthcare professional (Cardiac Physiologist/ Healthcare Scientist). They look for any irregularities in the heart’s rhythm and write a technical report for your physician.
Generally, no special preparation is needed. However, if you do have a hairy chest you will be advised to shave it.
After your data has been analysed by a cardiac physiologist/ Healthcare professional it will be sent to the referring clinician (Your GP or Cardiologist)
